Chris Malins is Associate Vice President for Treasury at the University of Washington.

He is responsible for Asset Liability Management, Treasury Operations, Investor Relations and Financial Forecasting. These units manage the University’s debt portfolio, operations and accounting for debt, endowment and operating funds, institutional proformas, student outreach and engagement on socially responsible investing.

Mr. Malins has been at the University since 1991, and held previous positions in grant and student accounting before coming to the Treasury Office in 1999. He holds a degree in finance from the University of Washington with an additional concentration in accounting.

He is Vice President of the UW Club Board and serves as a board member for the Treasury Institute for Higher Education and Portage Bay Insurance Company.
