Susan I. Krauss is the Treasurer for the University of Kentucky.
In this role, Susan oversees various financial and treasury functions including investments, endowments, debt, banking, payroll, accounts payable, travel management, research accounting, cost accounting, property records, student billing and collections, and accounting and preparation of internal and external financial reports.
Susan joined the University of Kentucky in 1999 as the Manager of Treasury & Endowment Services and has served in various positions within University Financial Services prior to her appointment as Treasurer in 2014. Susan received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining the University, Susan was a financial analyst for Lexmark International, Inc. and an audit manager for Coopers & Lybrand. Susan currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Treasury Institute for Higher Education.
