Treasury Institute Tax Exempt Bond Compliance Workshop
December 7-9, 2015
The Treasury Institute for Higher Education is facilitating its fourth Tax Exempt Bond Compliance Workshop. This year's workshop will take a case study approach to tax exempt bond compliance issues. The program, geared toward university staff with bond compliance responsibilities, will offer an interactive learning experience, working through Private Business Use (PBU) calculations and will leverage the expertise of faculty and participants to share best practices and develop successful strategies for tax exempt bond compliance.
An optional one day Pre-Workshop Primer will help build a foundation for the workshop. First-time attendees and those in need of a refresher will have an opportunity to spend a full day learning about the terms, concepts, and vocabulary of tax exempt bond compliance, private business use and the basics of a tax exempt bond compliance policy.
At the two day Workshop you will receive valuable information regarding the following topics:
Each day of the workshop will end with an idea exchange and debriefing to facilitate networking and the sharing of best practices, ideas, and solutions.
You won’t want to miss this workshop.
As one attendee said, “Being new to bond compliance, I thought the workshop was extremely helpful. I can’t stress that enough. It helped provide direction and scope to our compliance policies and procedures. We increased our outreach and education to borrowing units, further developed our annual facilities surveys, and working on a comprehensive database for Private Business Use. I continue to use the presentation materials as a reference for rules and calculation methods. I look forward to future events, as bond compliance is a continuous process.”
Primer Session and Workshop registration fee is $575
Workshop ONLY registration fee is $475
Attendance limited to schools of higher education, supporters, and speakers.
The Treasury Institute for Higher Education would like to thank our event supporters.
